Formal Christmas Mess Dinner

Once again the cadets will get a unique opportunity to dine at Jonathon's Restaurant located at Thomas St and Church St. Mr Jonathan Alikakos and (who is an honourary officer with our corp) and his family graciously opens his doors to allow our cadets the opportunity to dine in the family's restaurant. Dress will be formal dress uniform with bow ties and white shirts for the gents, evening gown, long dress for the ladies.

Please be at the restaurant for 1830 hrs as dinner will start at 1900

There are 2 Remembrance day parades in Oakville that we attend. This one is at Bronte Legion located on Jones St south of Lakeshore Rd in Bronte. Full Dress uniform. The 11th is at the Downtown Oakville site immediately following the all night vigil

Poppy Sales

No one needs to explain the importance of this program. Poppy sales help fund programs for all veterans of the Canadian Armed Forces including soldiers who recently return from Afghanistan and other regions of the world after protecting our freedom and democracy. Full dress uniforms are to be cleaned, pressed and polished

Our corp will be attending this event for this weekend. Full kit list for the weekend will be handed out as well as departure and pick up times. This weekend will be comprised of outdoor activities including rappelling, obstacle courses, trekking and other challenges.

Cadets will be conducting an open house for all citizen's who want to visit the armouries. Displays and practical demonstrations will be done to show people what cadets is all about. Recruiting for new members will also occur.

Cadets will also assist with fund raising for the corps programs. This will assist with the 7 weekend events we have this year

Ametuer radio Classes-1st class for '09 '10 year

This is a new program for any cadets who want to get their Amatuer radio Licence. Alternating Wednesdays opposite shooting nights will be classes held at the Armouries from 1845 hrs til 2100 hrs.
