This Tuesday is the last training night until the new year. Cadets are to wear appropriate civilian attire (no uniforms) for the party/BBQ. Each member is to bring an unwrapped gift for children 10 years or younger or $10. These gifts will be distributed to children whose parents are serving with the military in Afghanistan.

Cadets will resume on Tuesday 5th January 2010 with CO's parade (full dress uniform)

Georgetown Armouries Small Arms Training (SAT) Simulator

Silver (presently enrolled) Gold, NSCE and Senior NCO's will be attending the Georgetown Armouries for a mixed day of simulator shooting using the DND SAT trainer and also rappeling (weather dependant) at the Georgetown Armouries.

WE MUST LEAVE OAKVILLE ARMOURIES BY 8 AM FOR A 9 AM START TO THE DAY AT THE SITE.

All cadets attending must attend the mandatory C7 rifle safety and familiarization day on the 2nd December prior to attending this ex.

Silver (presently enrolled), Gold , NSCE and senior NCO's are elligible to attend a lecture put on by Sgt Morris of the Princess Patricia's Canadian Light Infantry.

This lecture is mandatory prior to attending the Georgetown Armouries to use the Small Arms Training (SAT) Simulator on the 5th December.

Dress for this lecture will be combat uniforms.
