Cadets will be using 1/2 shelters, modular tents and biv site equipment for a weekend camp exercise that will also see them volunteering with the local Amateur Radio Emergency Service (ARES).

Tasks include equipment support, antenna assembly, radio operation – all tasks will be directly supervised by expert staff. Opportunities will be available for all Cadets to operate a long range radio under supervision of a licenced operator.

A weekend BBQ will also be planned for this event. Equipment lists and further plans including times will be announced at a later date.
